Notes on Notes (EP. 029)

Rise and Love, Family.

In this episode, I’m checking in from a little neighborhood park to reflect on the personal development framework I’ve been building and rebuilding over the past few years. What started as a digital system inside Notion—organized around goals, projects, tasks, and areas of life—worked well for a while. But over time, I began questioning my reliance on digital tools and started craving something more tactile and creative.

After a hand injury and surgery forced me to slow down, I found myself missing writing, sketching, and journaling. That experience nudged me toward a new iteration of my system—this time centered around notebooks, reflection practices, and a framework connecting my values, priorities, projects, goals, habits, and tasks.

I’m still experimenting and iterating, but I’m learning to take smaller bites and give myself more grace along the way.

If you’re building your own personal development system, I’d love to hear what’s working for you.
