The only constant in life is change, and I’ve been making some changes in my life recently. I won’t say that I have a new outlook on life, but I do have more clarity. In the last episode I talked about my struggle to “protect my peace” in relationships with people. Moving to a new location is something that is helping me to protect my peace as I’m getting acclimated to this new phase in my life.

It’s #VeganGangOrDontBang around here ya’ll! Lol, I’m just playing. On this episode of the podcast, I put folks on to a nearby donut shop with vegan options; I share about my path to becoming vegan; and I give some encouragement for folks who are trying to make changes to their diet and/or wellness. As you’ve come to expect, the stream-of-consciousness style is still present and I’m putting it out there unfiltered.

I've been going through some ups and downs lately. I went from having one of the most amazing birthday celebrations ever to having some really serious interpersonal challenges. In the midst of those challenges, I've also been fortunate enough to have people in my corner giving me love and reminding me to love myself. In this episode I'm sharing some of my reflections, and what I'm working on in my life. I hope that you can take something positive from engaging with me. As always #RiseandLove family.

Working in juvenile justice can be really challenging sometimes, and this is one of those times for me. I'm not trying to bring anyone down, but I do want to be authentic in expressing my emotions. All I can do is #RiseandLove.
